You need to travel more. There are areas of Chicago that are extremely dangerous. Most of Chicago is safe. In most major cities in South and Central America you don't travel around at night. Affluent people live behind walls and bars. America is an extremely safe country when compared to the majority of countries around the world.

What you are describing above in red is nothing new, but is not what Trump and the majority of the voters in this country want to prohibit.

Casting that net in your definition broadens the scope beyond the more recent increases in illegal entry into this country and/or the illegal continuation of presence when the right to remain has expired.

The "issue" is the broadening of the scope of the familial "relationships" that have been allowed to claim some "right" to be in and/or remain in this country.

The topic of this thread has been a circumstance for as long as I can recall .... and to put that in perspective for you I was unable to speak and/or understand the English language until I began attending public schools in the U.S. My family, including me, have assisted and/or facilitated persons from Latin American countries to come to the U.S. and/or remain in the U.S. once here. There were a variety of reasons to justify their presence here and to support their remaining here in some capacity.

Those reasons were not always based on kinship or marriage. Having traveled and lived outside of this country as an adult I am also aware of the lack of "reciprocity" with regard to other countries from which most of the illegal/trespassers have come and their lack of tolerance for anyone coming into their respective countries without first obtaining permission to do so!

The "globalists" are full of shit with regard to "immigration" and "emigration." The "federal" police and military in most, if not all those countries, make ICE look like a bunch of pussies.

All this hoopla about "immigration" and "ICE" is agenda based and has nothing to do with "racism" at all any more than you keeping locks on your doors and windows, alarm systems, and/or video surveillance with respect to your home. Of course, I am "assuming" that your locks, alarms, and/or video cameras are not "race" sensitive and only stop and/or record persons of a particular ethnicity.

Securing our borders, like our homes, is for the purpose of "securing" our country and protecting our welfare and the shit we've worked to accumulate. Apparently, too many empty heads have quickly forgotten 911, not to mention the literal INVASION of other countries by uninvited people who have inconsistent cultures, standards, and/or beliefs as the countries they are invading and have no plans of assimilating to the new environment.

The route the couple took to citizenship remains unclear. Michael Wildes, the family’s attorney, has declined to comment on the process, but he said in February that they had become permanent residents and were on track to naturalize.

The Knavs’ immigration status has drawn scrutiny amid President Donald Trump’s sustained attack on legal and illegal immigration.

The president in particular has vented about the family-based immigration system, which the administration dubs “chain migration.”
