Default log in notice

For what ever reason if I try and go to say search I get a message that I need to log in (already logged in) if I send an IM same thing but did see later that the IM was sent, also on orginal log in I get an error message and again appears I am not logged in, but if I click on the ECCIE in the upper left corner it goes to the forms and shows me logged in.

Working fine for me.

I can search with results, bring up private messages to type a new one, etc.

When I login, the redirect takes me to a non-working link and I get the error message. But if I then manually enter eccie.net it goes to the site home page and shows that I was successfully logged in. So, looks to me like the login works but they need to fix the broken link in the redirect. I haven't had any spurious logout problems that some guys report. PC with Chrome.

Seems like this is as good a thread as any to mention this:
Eccie.net is no longer redirecting to https://eccie.net. Tested browser: mobile safari via iPhone. (I used the desktop view. Haven’t tested mobile view.) Basically means users will get website security issues and will fail their initial login attempt. If a person manually types in the https:// portion, they can get in without issue.

Default Log in issues

For the past 2-3 days I've been having log in issues that I haven't had since the site returned. I keep getting invalid user/password and the standard "after 5 attempts" notice. I've reset my password to get in and then changed it back to what it was. If I try to log in again, it gives me a message that I've already tried 5 times and I'm locked out for 15 mins. I waited an hour and it didn't reset so I changed my password again. Now I have gotten in by going to the mobile site and it shows me logged in and everything is fine even though I didn't log in to mobile. I've cleared cache and all that with no luck. It's not my VPN, firewall or AV that's causing the problem. If it happens again, Ill forward the screen shots of the error messages.

we all had issues like that.. you would sign in, and it looked like it was rejected, but if you hit the back button, it showed you logged in.. there were other little gremlins as well.. as of late last night, everything is back to normal.. for me, anyway.

I had that happen to Chung. To sign in just now, I had to request a password reset. I signed out at 4PM and when I tired to sign in a few minutes ago it said I had tried 5 times (after the first attempt) and locked me out. I was able to get on mobile but couldn't sign in. Net time I tried the regular site, I was able to get to where I could request a reset password and that's how I got in now. It's not making a lot of sense that I'm getting blocked after 1 attempt.
