I had a friend some years ago who would get kidney stones every few months, he suffered a lot but never took anything for the pain, he was tough as hell. Once the stone passed, he would just look up and say 'all better now' and carry on as if nothing happened.

RL, have you done any research on them? There are things you can do to reduce/eliminate them.
Some of which we have posted here.
I hate it for you that you will have to deal with this the rest of your life. I would only wish those upon my worse enemy.
