Clean out your purses from time to time.

I can't imagine the amount of germs that may be lurking and growing and having a procreating orgy in those purses!

One website I came across while researching this subject actually recommended for women to empty all the contents out from their purses once a week and to completely and thoroughly wipe the inside and outside of it several times with clorox disinfecting wipes.

I think that is a very good idea!

I remember as a kld when we were in church,mom would bring out her huge purse and whip out kleenix/lifesavers/colors/color books and twizzlers from it!

I've seen women use their purses/handbags to carry entire plates of lasagna, fried chicken, enchiladas and aluminum can soft drinks into the movie theaters so they can save money on concession food.

Can I derail this thread and talk about SO overnight packing? We recently stayed overnight 4 hours from our home. I packed one pair of underwear, one t-shirt, one pair of socks and a shirt. Figuring I would wear the same jeans and the new shirt was just due to temp changes. (I was wearing a long sleeve on the drive when temps were in the 60's and would be in the 70's on the way home.)

The SO had a hang-up bag plus another suitcase-type thing. Really???!! In the interest of marital bliss I held my tongue and did not say anything.

I carry a toiletry/makeup suitcase...a clothing suitcase...a shoe bag...a bag with food/tea and snacks...a decoration bag for my table decor...AND a toy suitcase! along with a bag with extra towels and sheets!

I stayed in a hotel overnight: checked in at 7 pm, checked out at 7 am, everything I needed was in a grocery store brown bag.

But women will bring the entire house.

When they travel 2 free checked in bags, 2 free carry on bags on Southwest Airlines are not enough for them.
