Fair enough! Most of the places I go are in Fayetteville, so here's my recommendations:

Mexican - Mexico Viejo
Asian - Formosa
BBQ - Sassy's or Lucky Luke's
Pizza - Mojo's
Sandwiches - Stone Mill Bakery
Breakfast - Rick's Bakery

And not to brag or anything, but I'm a pretty badass cook...

if you like indian food there's khana indian grill in fayetteville.

casual but they have good drinks and wacky beers. and their slushies are really novel. not too sweet and interesting flavors. well the both of them. the green is particularly good.
having some gin or tequila added to it is fun
