Default P411 Profile View Notifications

I wonder if providers know that clients get a notification every time their profile is viewed on P411. I suspect that some do not. Or at least clients can get a notification if they want - mine is set up that way.

I'm not sure if that option is on by default, but if clients want to turn it on, go to the link called "Tracking" on the same line where the link to your profile is. On the resulting screen select 'Yes' for "Would you like to receive an email each time a Provider views your Profile?" and press save. From this screen you can also see the history of every provider that has viewed your profile and when it was viewed.

I always wondered if providers get any notifications like that, say when a client views their profile (doubt it, probably way too many notifications) or adds them to their favorites list, blocks them, etc. But perhaps that's giving away too many secrets...

I have wondered the same when viewing provider's profiles. As for the guy's notifications, it's not by default. You have to set it up.

As far as I can tell, we get stats alone and no specifics like who it is....for example, it’s broken down like : 1 view from Public (a non member), 2 views from Basic from Arkansas, 1 view from Basic Plus 1 from Oklahoma, etc. etc., and it’s noted how many unique views and how many are repeats.
Nothing really more specific than that. It can be a little stressful, I admit, only seeing numbers and wondering if I should be worried that a “non member” has viewed my profile 9 times in one day, but hasnt ever contacted me.
Actually, for that reason, I’ve been thinking seriously about paying extra for UTR status just because of the recent sharp uptick in the “Public” views that, as far as I can see, don’t benefit me in any way. :/

One thing to consider: I'll wager that a good percentage of those "Public" views are actually from P411 members who just haven't bothered to log into the site.

Sometimes guys (or ladies) post a lady's P411 profile URL into a review, ad, etc. I'm pretty sure that at least sometimes when I click on those P411 shows me the profile without prompting me to login first. When that happens, I suspect that shows up in your statistical breakdown as a "Public" view, even though I'm a P411 Member from Tennessee with 38 Okays.

But you can bet if I'm ever lucky enough to find my way to NWA sometime, I'll be sending you a P411 appointment request...

Cheers,

bcg

Jane's comment about a "public" view threw me. I can't view P411 showcases without logging in. But BCG's comment made it make sense. I have not given it much thought but you can indeed sometimes click on a link to P411 in an ECCIE review and see a lady's P411 showcase without being logged on to P411. Other times you can't. I have no idea how that works but BCG's observation makes sense.

I have a P411 question (somewhat tangentially related) about the provider side view - can providers browse or search client profiles? In other words, would a provider need to have had some prior contact with a client (PM or appointment request, for example) to be able to see the client's profile, or is it possible to see clients' profiles having no prior knowledge of them?

Might be best to ask Gina herself, then you know you will get a straight answer.

She is a Member of Eccie, with a User name of GinaXXX

Her Profile can be found here - https://www.eccie.net/member.php?u=216

Of course, you could also send her a Message on P411.
