First, thanks for the report. I wasn't aware of this particular scam.

Secondly: Ya'll REALLY need to be careful with using paypal.

Paypal will close your account down in a New York second if they think that any type of fee is associated with sex work or sexual services at all.

I've heard nightmare stories of ladies getting their account frozen because of some nefarious person writing an anonymous note to Paypal or just Paypal noticing something is up along those lines.

There have been a few instances where the females didn't get their funds back. Or it took months to do so.

I use paypal all of the time for my personal use. I simply don't wish to see a fellow sex worker have issues with a paypal account that she's had for ages.

Same goes for a few other alternative payment options. Best to start a topic about those in the private, female only, areas of Eccie. A few are out there already discussing this issue.

paypal is the worst with illegal activities of any kind.
And they can freeze your account in a minute.

That has happened to me ONE time! It’s a guy who is very known on this board.
I sent him my email so he can send funds, and a text comes through on my hobby phone and said the same thing. I click it to claim my money, go back into my acct and check it and it’s there. So I go to my profile in my acct, all it did was link my hobby phone to my Paypal. I had to go in there and delete it, and made sure to tel him to use the email next time. He sent the money using the phone number. So it’s just a misunderstanding.
I understand your level of concern with a guy you do not know anything about. Which I why I only accept Paypal with someone I have at least seen once prior to me giving the email for that acct.
