Texas southern belle thinking about hobbying in Louisville and Lexington

Hi I'm going to be in Kentucky for my real job and Im also thinking about having some fun on the side. Are Louisville and Lexington great places to hobby or no? Also does anyone have any good info on things to do while in both of these cities. Thank You in Advance.

I don't now if either city is a great place to hobby, but in Kentucky (as in a lot of places that aren't Texas) ECCIE is pretty dead. There may be other websites that would be better to gauge the hobby environment, but I don't know what they are.

If you're a baseball fan the Louisville Slugger Museum in Louisville (natch) is a must see. If you're into horse racing, you can check to see if there are any activities (tours, a museum, etc.) connected with Churchill Downs (Louisville, again), and in Lexington you might want to check if there's anything connected with Keeneland. If you're into horses more generally (i.e., as more than the focus of horse racing) you might want to take in a visit to the Kentucky Horse Park while in Lexington. And if you're into boxing and the life and achievements of Muhammad Ali, the Muhammad Ali Center is supposed to be very good (it's on my must see list, myself).

The Louisville Slugger museum sounds amazing since I love baseball and the Muhammad Ali center seems right up my alley as well. I appreciate you telling about the hobby life in Kentucky I will have to look into other hobby sites that are safe to post on.

Now you have me sorry that I can't be in Louisville when you are; you sound like just my type of lady.

The Louisville Slugger Museum is amazing; I've been there twice and need to get back sometime. And I will make the Ali center pilgrimage sometime, too.

If the Brown Hotel is still in operation, you could try having a Hot Brown ("an open-faced sandwich of turkey and bacon, covered in Mornay sauce and baked or broiled until the bread is crisp and the sauce begins to brown" --Wikipedia) at the place where it was born. (That's another one of my "to do" items when I get to Louisville again.)

When the "Female Escorts" section of Backpage was still a thing, it was fairly common to post rates. Since that was shut down and the escort ads moved to "Women Seeking Men", are ladies allowed to post rates there? The fact that I don't recall any ladies doing so suggests to me that it's against the rules, and can get a lady's ad flagged and removed.

Its seems like more providers in Kentucky are using Eros and/or P411 than any other sites. In the past, naughtyreviews, which is now tempted, was the place to be, but they've went to shit and most providers have switched to BP.

Kylee, I'm not sure where you might be staying, but if you like shopping, there are two great malls on the east side of town off Hurstbourne....St. Matthews and Oxmoor malls.
