The East St. Louis clubs have gone WAY downhill over the past 10 years. Customers are fleeing in droves. There are a few decent places, but the unique "east side" lap dances are all but gone. Washington Park still has Hustler, which is a traditional strip club and busier than ever; and Bob no longer owns Hollywood so it is a nice place to visit. But the other mid-level clubs are dead. Then you have the brothel clubs, but those are not going to be fun for a lady to visit.

I wish it was like it was back 10-15 years ago.

My experience is that the clubs in KS, MO are ridiculous. I have two near me that I stopped in once and will never go back. When I lived in STL the IL clubs were pretty okay but still not up to snuff IMHO. The only decent thing about the clubs in Kansas, at least the ones near me, is that the drinks are regular price and you can smoke . Other than that they're a complete waste of time. Very bummed about that as I love going to the clubs! A well run, clean and well stocked club in the area would do really well...

of course it would do well, but county and city ordinances (in kansas, state laws in MO) prevent them from operating in a "good" way. now, go to topeka where the lawmakers are and their city strip clubs are relatively fun.
