Default Eccie request to change password?

I received a request to change my password claiming it has been a year. Can a mod confirm this was legit and not phishing?

I'm not a mod, but I have had that same message for the past 3 years. I have had to change it each time to log in.

Thanks. Would still like a mod to confirm. Obviously security goes beyond my own personal interests.

Are you getting an email message asking you to change your password, or is Eccie prompting you to change it after you log on? If it is an email, just log on to Eccie the way you normally do, and change your password. Do not click any links in the email and you will be fine. If you are being prompted to change your password after you log on to Eccie, it is definitely not a phish. If you are logged on and the site has its normal content (you can still see all your reviews/posts, etc.), then it is safe for you to use the site to change your password.
