Whats everyone doing for Mothers Day??

This is my first mothers day on the east coast & away from My kids.
They wont be here until August. So this isn't really feeling like mothers day to me.
I'm just here bored.
Kind of sad about it.

I'm sorry to hear that for you.

My mother lives down the road from me and of ourse we will go out to eat today...we do that every Sunday...but since it's Mother's Day, we're going to Popeye's and get some chicken! That may sound weird but all the normal restaurants will be slammed today so we're gonna get some yardbird, take it home and eat on the patio.

Stuck at home, at least content about it. Son is washing my car and waiting my my middle to walk in the front door with her fiance (music to my ears this morning).

Did nothing. I would've spent time with u if u were near... but in the past now...

My time with mom and grandma was simple.
Us kids made them brunch and had mimosas ... gave them gifts and just enjoyed spending time together.
