During strawberry season, I'm quite partial to taking sliced strawberries, mixing with some crumbled feta cheese, snipping some fresh basil leaves over all that, then tossing with some good balsamic vinegar. Then again, I've had enough people go "yuk" at that to suggest that it might be an acquired taste (though I acquired the taste the first time I tried it, so I might be weird).

I've often said that if there is a God and she made anything better than strawberries, then she kept it for herself.
Then again, I've said the same thing about watermelon in season and lasagna any time of the year, so I guess I can be accused of being fickle.
