An interesting article on Commissioner Price. https://www.dmagazine.com/publicatio...n-wiley-price/
"A review of campaign records indicates that Price paid off most of his personal home improvement loan with campaign contributions—a violation of state law, which prohibits elected officials from converting campaign funds to personal use. The records show that in 1989 and 1990 he used campaign funds to make two payments to the Garland bank, one for $18,700 and the other for $16,006. "
"One of Price’s sidelines, developed since he became a commissioner, is consulting. He says his partner, Kathy Nealy, runs the business out of her North Dallas home. Surprisingly, Price’s consulting specialty is minority protest—not how to start it, but how to snuff it out."

What does the current President and whatever he has or hasn't done have anything to do with the verdict handed down for Commissioner Price? Come on guys. Again, white Republican here that is very active politically just looking for honest debate on the merits of the case and the verdict. This really could be a meaningful discussion rather than where it's heading.

Your right Johnny Ringo. I apologize for getting way of track. This doesn't have anything to do with Trump
I think Trump is such a big time fraud that JWP looks like a smaill time hood in comparison

In the American system you are found "Not Guilty," which is quite different from being found "Innocent".

It was an incredibly weak case. No direct evidence of a quid pro quo. Not one witness for the givernme t could say what the Payne to were for. The defense proved, despite the fact that they didn't have to, that a number of the payments were loan repayments. The judge caught the government hiding evidence THREE TIMES and instructed the jury about their misconduct. The judge was going to grant a directed verdict of acquittal on a third of the claims!! The people who paid the alledged bribes weren't charged!!
Horribly weak case.

Was Al Capone really a gangster? All he was ever convicted of was tax evasion. Perhaps he was just bad at taxes?

We're all the people who drank in his bars gangsters. . We're the cops and FBI agents who drank there gangsters? How bout the politicians? We're these gansterb hats for gansters members only. The police can make a criminal out of anyone they want. I bet everyone ( except me) has broken some laws. Probabaly today. And yes a disproportionate amount are black and Mexican. I would love you to prove me wrong Johnn Ringo. That would actually make me feel a little better. Oh and btw to all the JWP Haters, is Dallas better with him in jail

We are? Really? If the collective "we" includes me, I'm pretty sure I am not any of those things.

I'm not sure what "gansterb hats for gansters members" are, but I'm pretty sure most of the members here are not them.

First, I promised you something and I will deliver. I just quoted you for a specific reason; my answer is a resounding NO!!!!! Although I am on the opposite side of the aisle of Commissioner Price there is no way. Commissioner Price takes care of his constituents better than anyone that could hold that office. I fully admit he definitely
"gives a shit" Is that so hard to believe just because is an African American representing a Precinct that is primarily African American? Why the fuck do you think he continues to get re-elected? I know the answer, because he gets results!!!! Now if you folks wish to continue the attacks on a man that was found innocent I can counter with all the Elliot Spitzers you want. TheMystic I will keep my promise. Guys, don't get your panties in a wad because an African American politician beat charges filed against him, plenty of his white counterparts have done the same.

JWP is a "politician". Deal with it people. It's how it is. Maybe trump $ family will never be found guilty for lining the trump pockets. It's just what they do. Twit head will never release his taxes because of all the foreign countries carrying him around.
He is still making deals and as president his only concern is to change the subject from him to all the fake news and the gop that can't stand him won't do a damn thing...yet.
It's an entertaining ride people. Divert, divert, divert and fuck the real trump deals lol. I'd take a bush any day without a corrupt Chaney

Correcting typos sorry
1. Were these gangster bars for gangsters only?- Not most of them
2. And statistically they do tend to lock up Blacks and Mexicans at a higher rate
Thanks for putting this back on track Johnny Ringo
PS: Not an excuse. When I'm wrong or hateful to someone I do try yo apologize of retract. I'm getting better

No Dallas shouldn't have foot the bill to have him in jail. They should make him live in his district while he pays back the money he embezzled. They also need to make him drive a POS Crown Vic ex-police cruiser.

America allow legal bribing so if you got a lot of money and connection it will shield you from pretty much any illegal activity.
