Maybe they are insecure men who don't know what they want and just go for the cheaper and "for sure" option.
I don't ever have a plan B, I know what I want and what I like, if I contact a provider, then that means I want to meet them. It is either all or nothing for me.

My guess is that he found something better? Maybe cheaper or both, don't take it personal, it's business and no shows are part of it.

This is how I operate. If I'm contacting a provider, it means I've done my research and I'm definitely interested in meeting. I don't just send PMs at everyone and see what sticks. It's a waste of my time and the providers time.
I've yet to cancel on a provider. I have to do much maneuvering to carve out a time to meet them. Too much effort involved to cancel for no legit reason. I've had providers cancel on me, but fortunately they've given me plenty of warning. Haven't had a show up at the location and receive silence situation yet, but figure it will happen at some point.

if i were a provider and i found this out (those b.s. answers [the text in bold - i'm asssuming that's what he replied]), then i'd say he's a jerk for what he did.
not showing up and then lying about it! hell, they impeached nixon for lying & covering up.
since only he (and mybe 1 other person) knows what he did instead of coming to visit you, i wouldnt spend any more time thinking about him, what he did, who he saw. he's history!
as i posted before, if it's important to share, let your sister providers know of his jerky actions.
sounds like you've got a great brain upstairs and great client satisfaction goals!
hope your next client is more appreciative and deliteful!

me too.. despite that I champion the idea of a plan B, logistically it is not realistic to have a backup lined up who is nearby and available..

it will happen soon.. I have had 5-6 total silence after getting to the incall moments. 40% of my sessions are AMP's, where one NEVER gets silence, so filtering those out leaves about 10% of my expected sessions resulting in dead silence at the incall.

So if that 10% number is true, looks like I'm due for one soon.

No doubt, in the last week I have had two "I feel asleep" One "I smoked, forgot, and went to Walmart, and a broken phone. All four caused me to drive across town and sit in a parking lot for nothing.

That's just sad! Smh. How do you "smoke and forget" someone is coming to visit you. LAME!

I've been in the business for a minute and yes, I accept the lame asses that NCNS however I WILL not accept that is was "better". Call me conceited, but I don't know how you can get any better than my look and service. Going "cheaper" only means you'll get what you pay for.... a half ass rushed service. Why settle for a hot dog when you can have a hot, juicy steak for a little more. lol

well, in my hobby & real world opinion, all or nothing is not a very good technique for dealing w/ things. there is a wide spectrum between all and nothing. even at the sub-atomic world, one cannot determine where something is, in which direction it's moving, and how fast. one has to approximate.

seriously? there's no one in the dallas ft worth area or even north texas that is any better than you?
sounds to me like an all-or-nothing approach.
and sounds like your definition of "better" applies to your potential clients.
but, it's your world, so have at it.

sometime going cheaper (tho i would saw "spending less") can mean getting what one really wants w/out having to drive very far.
regardless, there are a gazillion + 1 reasons why a client goes to a provider other than the one that they initially contacted and/or scheduled an appt.
they may have gone for a healthy salad, foregoing meat products this time

Maybe he caught a bad vibe during your screening, or maybe he decided to stay home and watch March Madness. Could be many things, those are just two examples.

I can only say that if I can't make an appointment...I always let the provider know.
It is too bad the providers don't do the same. Usually you get no return calls or text messages when you call to let them know you are near the incall. But occasionally you get a lame ass excuse like....I fell asleep, my phone wet dead, etc....
Not much you can do about it....just move on.

I'll have to disagree with you but can respect the way you feel about it.
