Not flaming, but it doesn't really work...

In Nevada, the model is that it's legal in outlying counties with limited population. So from Vegas, for instance, it's a couple hours of driving through desert wasteland. Plus it's mega-expensive because the house takes half of each session plus charges the girls for supplies.

Dennis Hof, who owns the Bunnyranch of cable TV fame, claims that the legal business has been declining because Vegas does nothing to prevent encounters in the casinos. In fact, he feels that Vegas goes out of its way to allow it because it's what their customers want.

While there is a case made for safety (legal establishments are required to regularly test for STDs), and clients don't have to fear arrest, assault or armed robbery, the thought that you could ever totally control it is not realistic.
