That's as good a reason for electing Trump as any, but it remains to be seen whether personal income will thrive under the Donald. Trickle down economics has been unsuccessful too many times to be credible. Other issues about his stated policies are troubling. Expel 11 million people from the country? Unfeasible and absurd. A wall across the border with Mexico, which that country is supposed to pay for? Ridiculous. Pulling out of the Paris climate accords? Coming from the country that is one of the worst contributors to global pollution, this means a big loss of respect from the 195 nations that have signed the agreement. It also means bequeathing an increasingly polluted and unlivable world to our children because Trump believes global warming is a deceptive invention of the Chinese, rejecting the confirmed science. Then there is the question of health care. The Affordable Care Act isn't perfect, but it does provide care to millions of people who had no coverage previously. Trump says he will replace this but has offered few details about how. Another likely casualty of the upcoming presidency is Planned Parenthood, providing critical health care like cancer screenings to countless women who otherwise have no access to this care. I can only hope Winter Kay stays healthy.
