Rio Copacabana Scene

Brothers,

When in Rio, I would frequent the Balcony bar every night for a companion to "sponsor" for a a couple of hours. It looks like i will be headed down for another visit soon, but heard that the Balcony Bar is now closed. Now that it has closed, where is the new "spot" to find the same quality of ladies and atmosphere? Did it move back to Mab's or is even around Posto 5 anymore?

I was just there last week. Mab's seems to be the only big gathering spot in Zona Sul. It should be noted that a lot of the garotas there were TS. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks, for the info, yoconchief. There was a TS scene around the Balcony as well, though not really IN the bar...and certainly not a large majority. On any given night there were upwards of 50 garotas around...is the scene that large at Mab's now or is it a much smaller crowd?

I only went by twice. I would estimate about half the crowd that you would see on a typical Balcony night. Not anywhere close to the Help days.

Was there a few months ago...Balcony is indeed closed and reopened as an Italian joint...no pussy.

Didn't go to Mab's but just on the other side of the street that restaurant had action...not Balcony volume but a few solid options. I would expect that with the Olympics around the corner there may be LE activity to cut it down, just as there was pre-World Cup.

Anywhere from 8-40 ladies at mabs, all during the day and night. Plus had some fun with waitresses. No review given but the sisters.

Very Nice! I was there in November of last year. With the demise of the Balcony Bar, Mabs is the place again. I wish I was there while the exchange rate was still 4 to 1 against the dollar. Had a blast...but will wait for all the craziness of the Games to be over before heading back. I miss my Brazilian ladies...

Mabs just doesn't do it for me. Ok place but would rather go to Monte Carlo, Eden Spa or 4 x 4 and party out. Use to hang out at Terra Atlantico back in the day so Mabs just doesn't excite me that much

I would try something else but am tight on money. I don't have money for entry fares plus action.. If I did I woild try something else out besides the mini brothels in centro
