I referred a regular of mine to here. How will I know when he makes an account? I said he could use me as a reference but I'm not sure how any of that works since I've never referred anyone before lol

Referring a client to ECCIE is great but the only way you will get credit for a referal is if he checks the referal box and inputs your username when he registers. If he does use you as a referral it will show up on your profile.

Once he registers he can give you his username and you can send him a PM or visa versa. Have him include his cell number so you can have some proof that is is actually your client.

But in the end it is just a gimmick for you to invite folks to join and that's really all.
