Damn, skippy!!!
To the OP; I once read an article, years ago. I wish I could somehow find it for you, but it was in a physical magazine so no chance of that.
Anywhos, the article was by a man. He and his wife were doing great in every aspect of their relationship, except for their sex life. Something just wasn't "working" and neither of them wanted to even try to have sex together very often. They hired a sex counselor. She came to their home to observe them engage in a full on sex session.
He said he was super nervous at first and couldn't get it up, but then started to realize what a turn on it was, having another woman sitting by passively, watching he and his wife get it on.
They did the deed and she made her notes. After that they engaged in several weekly traditional counseling sessions (talking it out) and by the end he did say it pretty much solved their intimacy issues and things were doing a lot better in their sex life.
I don't know if that helps you at all, but I hope so.
Something else I would also suggest to you, from personal experience, is to see a counselor who uses the CBT method (cognitive behavioral therapy, it also makes me laugh bc this is the acronym for "cock and ball torture" hahaha!)
CBT addresses things like WHY we do the things we do or have the emotional/behavioral responses we do, and how to work on correcting those that need it.
Anywhos, good luck to you and hope all goes well.
