I kinda halfheartedly watched it, just to see how it went. It was OK.

Her second customer was trying to get bb from her, but she was prepared.

I'll keep an eye on it, to see if it's anything close to the real thing.

I'd recommend you stay away from the show if your SO isn't okay with the hobby. You don't want her to start an investigation into your knowledge of these acronyms.

I thought I'd see a thread on this show before now. Heck, when I saw the previews several weeks ago, I thought about starting one.

I've seen one episode…kinda interesting. I'll give it a couple more.

There's a thread about it in the Sandbox forum. I don't plan on watching it because it's not very relatable, at least for me. Elvis's granddaughter is a hot young law student, and is introduced to the "high class" female pimp by a friend. All the clients are high profile millionaires with yaughts and private planes.

In some ways, it reminds me of Fifty Shades—over hyped and unimaginative. The bar is so low for media that touches on the interpersonal dynamics between clients and sex workers that the very fact that there is a show, even if it is mediocre, is seemingly cause for celebration. The fact that the show's creators think the original Soderbergh movie was "underrated" says so much. I think the movie deserved the sub par ratings it received for being nothing more than Soderbergh's flimsy vision and an uber-famous, pretty porn star (Sasha Grey) delivering a dry performance of a full service sex worker.

I watched the first episode and I agree. All clients were super rich, all outcalls, all multi-hour, and envelopes with huge stacks of cash. Also, the female pimp decides which clients she has that are best for our young upstart callgirl. And some men just wanna talk.

Maybe some relate to it, but it's not the hobby wold I've experienced.
