Either type of picture can be good or bad.

Professionally done pictures should be clear and sharp with good lighting. Yet the Glam-and Bling should not obscure who the provider is with excessive make-up and elaborate outfits.

Armature photos down to and including smart phone selfies have a real-world authenticity, but still must be clear, in focus and well lighted.

What a hobbyist wants to know is what the provider looks like. The images should tell us what her overall body type is ("athletic, curvy, spinner, MILF etc) and should showcase her bust, butt, abdomen, grooming and hair color/style.

These images do not need to be nude or pornographic.

I am not a fan of photoshop. I hate when you see a picture of a woman with perfect skin nad you get there and she has bad skin and is covered with tats, not professional tats, but what loos like prison tats of every guy she has dated.

There is nothing wrong with recent, well done selfies. However, there is also a factor of what type of clientele you are after. If you want to elevate beyond a certain price point, you are expected to look like a professional that has invested in her business.

For a board like this, unless you are trying to charge higher than the average rate, selfies are fine. But I would have never used selfies on my website back in my day. You don't attract money by looking cheap. (not saying you look cheap, but having nothing but selfies implies a lack of investment)
