I have a "friend" who won't have her kids believe in Santa claus(which is just fun) but is all about getting them to believe in God
am i the only one who sees the hypocrisy in this?

I don't come to eccie to share my political or religious views. On this forum, I have no desire to hear other peoples views on these subjects either.

My opinion is Santa is just as imaginary as God. I've never seen either, don't believe in either and won't try to push others into believing in imaginary friends merely for comfort.
