Thank You For This Thread!
I don't wear my natural hair while working, but I have in my personal life at varying stages. I've shaved my head twice in my 19 years as a provider, and have had clients inquire about seeing my shaved head or me wearing a natural hairstyle. I declined on all occasions; I just prefer a different "look" while working, whether that's my own relaxed hair (most often), wig (now and then) or a weave (hardly ever). Versatility is easy with all of these options and makes things more interesting. I concur that Black women are definitely not the only ones who wear extensions or wigs; certain people need to quit frontin' and acting as if using hair additions are solely the domain of brown-skinned beauties. We all have our own style, and I think it's lovely that you are one of the men who openly appreciates ladies with natural, African textured hair. Variety is the spice of life

Aside from you having to deal with the racial and sexual politics of "good hair" imposed by our culture, I also know the often exhausting labor and cost associated with your choice to do various things to it. How a woman makes that choice and why is her business not mine, but I have to say that absolutely NOTHING gets my engine racing more than a sister who goes natural. To me it's a powerful statement, and sexy as hell. When I see some confident black woman rocking her natural hair in public. I don't care if she's 18 or 88...I can't resist a polite compliment to let her know how classy I find it and how much it's appreciated.
My question is this, do any of you ladies have clients, especially WHITE clients, who just can't wait to run their fingers through your beautiful natural hair? Do you ever come across other white men who feel this way? Have you had clients who asked you to go natural and offered to pay for you to go to the beauty shop a put it back how you like it afterwards? Do any of you choose to primarily or occasionally wear it natural for the hobby by your own choice (feel free to post pics please )
Do any clients want to see nothing so much as the real, incredible you?

Just a couple of weeks ago I had a three hour session with a beautiful young ebony woman. During our marathon session she told me not to let my perspiration drip on her hair as she just had it straightened and didn't want me messing it up! lol
Well SisterTwister, it looks like you're in luck, Lena Duvall is touring to your neck of the woods next month and you'll be able to have some hair fun!

This is a tough one.
Society as a whole is very tough on "natural" and most people (human nature) want to please.
On the other hand I too have found a partner's (hobby and civie) weave/wig/God only knows what to be cumbersome in BCD, cause apprehension around water and be unpleasant at times to sleep against.
I've asked nicely about going natural, particularly if it is short, and typically that is met with resistance. I don't push.
I think there is a whole lot of insecurity about it. "He was initially attracted to me with a wig on. What will he think if he sees me au natural? He says he is cool with natural but he hasn't seen my mess of natural yet..."
I suspect there is also some "who does he think he is to tell me how to wear my hair?"
We're all human. I like some natural hair. I will admit some natural hair...well it's better with something covering it up. It is what it is. But a wig/weave that just doesn't work? Or is on a 9/10 but with it drags her down to a 7/8? I've been there.
I will say fake hair has caused me to not repeat or in some cases pass on someone altogether.
And it isn't just the black women. Exhibit A would be Kim from Real Housewives of Atlanta and that nest she wears.

Wet my hair! Or better yet, pull it!
Just to clarify, generalizations are only true some of the time. But not as often as many are led to believe.
No shame to the Black ladies who prefer not to get their hair ruffled or wet during an erotic tryst. But I
personally don't mind, and actually love shower play and raunchy sweat inducing activities. And don't even
get me started on how much I love having my hair tugged and pulled!
Shower time fun (November 2015)

I wear my natural hair which is shoulder length. I do at times go to the salon to get weave or braids just deprends on how course my hair has gotten and if I want to hassle with doing the flat ironing and all maintenance myself. I've never had a white client dislike my hair.

I don't think the gentlemen callers who tend to inquire with me and share time with me necessarily gravitate to me solely because of my natural hair. But it is refreshing to know that there are gents out there like yourself who specifically have a deep appreciation for Black women with natural hair!

I love your hair in these pics. I totally wish my hair would do that.

I wear wigs sometimes and I'm white. I have very fine hair that curls like crazy, and sometimes I don't feel like styling it...so yeah.
I'd say it's fair to assume that a guy should not touch a ladies hair unless she puts your hand up there or asks you to. I would consider it polite.

Hats off to the ladies who are sporting the natural hair look.
It's not acceptable everywhere. Long and straight seems to be the norm on ladies.
Some of you men should find different Ebony ladies to play with. I would NEVER tell a client to NOT sweat on my hair....WTF times 1000. Not cool. They give the rest of us a bad name.
Have to love these lump a race threads...

Bro, im with you. My ex went natural, big beautiful fro. Too bad she's an ex. Lol. I love the natural style. I don't need to find a provider with a natural bouncy afro and nice cinnaBuns. I might show up to the appointment with a ring. Lmbo

Greatest turnon
The greatest turn for me is to run my hands through long beautiful hair. The fact that it is clean and smells like flowers is an added bonus.
