the sad truth is most people who vote dim don't care about America in the way you were taught or I might have been, they don't think of America as special or a beacon of freedom or its constitution enshrining liberty or the many citizen soldiers giving their lives for that idealism or the founders well thought out organization of America with its protections based on the true nature of man, in fact, if they think at all, they tend to detest that organization, with its republic form and it being state based, along with its small state protections.
no they may say they love America but they don't love those things, they might love the way the landscape looks. or they might like their neighbor, but they don't love the ideal of America. what do they love or mean exactly when they say they love America? I wonder.
when dims vote, they really don't even vote for a candidate in a way, they really vote for themselves, not for America and the best for all, no. they vote for themselves, what they might get. and they wonder why conservatives vote "against their own interests". they cannot understand that at all
