Question Who's dressing up for Halloween

I love this time of year anyone dressing up?

If so what are you going to be?

I am working at a Historic House in KC and will be dressed as a Union Soldier that was wounded during the Battle of Westport 151 yrs ago. They are planning on a sucking chest wound and a detached retina. We are doing a Civil War era surgical Hospital.
I plan to go out after I get done to a club

They did have soiled doves/ camp followers back than that took care of the troops. Just can't find someone to do a date for $3 for the whole night, which was the going rate. But not to many were working the hospitals.
The term Two bit whore came from this era when 2 bits got you time with a lady. Man have times changed lol

A joke from the 50's
What color is a 50 cent piece?

Answer: Black

This was from a time when bread was 10 cents a loaf, and gasoline was 15 to 20 cents a gallon.

From graduate school economics: the only thing that will be worth a dollar today and worth a dollar in 10 years is a dollar; everything else will be worth more or less depending upon the economy.

So if the value of a visit is with a lady in the 50's was 50 cents and it costs $200 today it takes 400 times more money to buy the same thing.

A dollar is still a dollar, it just doesn't purchase as much stuff.

Thank you LBJ for printing all of that money during Viet Nam while you had the war in Asia and the war on poverty at the same time. Just print more money and he thought no one would notice. I never voted for a Democrat after that. You get nothing by giving money away until it is worthless, along with our savings.

You're kidding right? How convenient to forget Reagan the conservative RepubliCon that cut taxes while increasing spending, and driving national debt to new highs? He also managed to breaking federal law by sending arms to the contras? While the "holier than thou" Republican house spent untold millions impeaching Clinton for lying about an affair (and currently spending millions and millions of taxpayer money to supposedly investigate Bengahzi, but inadvertantly admitted it was just to hurt Hillary politically?) The conservative republicons that gave the S & L's a license to steal, then go broke and leave it to Clinton to clean up? Then Shrub Bush the republicon that very nearly caused a melt down of our entire economy and then left the mess to another democrat to clean up? Remember Enron, et al? How about Shrub that got us mired in the middle east by invading and destablizing Iran? And which has cost, and is still costing us billions? This is the politcal party you support? Which of the current crop of Republicon morons you voting for now? Put down that cup of cool aide and get a grip. Hard to take any political position seriously that has to go back to the Johnson administration for justification.

Sorry, not the thread to post either of these commets, but I just can't abide by politcal statements that are based on bullshit.

But getting back to Halloween costumes;
For me:
Ha, not hardly.
Tis the season, but prefer not to poke a jelly doughnut.
Umm no. I'll leave that for another board guy.
Hmm, and the Kevlar is still handy. But no.
Ha, accused of being, but again no.
But what's the definition of black knight on this board? Hmmm.

Oh yeah. This is it, I quite enjoy catching wenches, that smile.
