USPS Sucks Major League Hind Tit
I purchased a New pair of Anderson Bean Elephant vamp Cowboy Boots from S&S Western Wear in Edna, Kansas off of Ebay. The AB Boots were delivered Friday morning via USPS Priority Mail 3 Day Delivery. The right boot had a heel defect so I contacted S&S Western Wear via Email that the right boot had a heel defect and I would be returning the AB Boots for a Refund.
I mailed the AB Boots back to S&S Western Wear in Edna, Kansas Friday afternoon using USPS Priority Mail 3 Day Delivery insured for the purchase price of $459.99. Priority Mail 3 Day Delivery shipping cost was $20 & Insurance was $7-Total-$27. Expected Delivery Date was Monday October, 26. I was checking the Tracking# Monday afternoon to see if the AB Boots had been delivered to S&S Western Wear. At 4:36 PM, Monday, October 26 the AB Boots had arrived at a USPS Facility in Portland, Oregon 97218. The AB Boots left the USPS Facility in Portland Oregon 97218 on Monday October 26 at 11:02 PM.
I went to the Lamar Park Post Office on Everhart Rd Tuesday, October 27 to find out why the AB Boots were shipped to Portland, Oregon. I was told by a USPS Supervisor that Priority Mail 3 Day Delivery is not guaranteed and that basically I am SOL even though it was their Mistake. I was wanting a Refund for the Price Difference between Priority Mail 3 Day Delivery & Standard Shipping which I think I am essentially receiving. I was told they are not responsible for their Mistakes. He could not tell me an estimated Delivery Time. So I don't have a clue how long it will take for the AB Boots to be delivered from Portland, Oregon to Edna, Kansas. This is the second time I have been bit recently by the USPS, back in June the USPS lost my Visa Payment that was mailed to Dallas, Texas. I was hit with a $25 late Fee due to the USPS losing my payment. My parting words to the USPS Supervisor pissed him off. I told him this type of service would never fly in the Private Sector & no wonder the USPS is going bankrupt-Incompetent Service. He told me Good Day Sir & I could tell by the tone of his voice that he was pissed off at me.
