The ladies in this business screen because physical danger is real. Serial killers of the ladies are real. Many ladies who are killed leave orphaned kids behind because "daddy" never did feel any need to stick around. A lot of nut jobs--even those short of being serial killers--feel they can get away with robbing, beating, and threatening the ladies because they won't go to the police because of the legality.

And somehow, some people find this amazingly humorous. That is a very sick perspective and really does say a lot about the people who find humor in it. Shall we tell "How many dead Jews" jokes at a holocaust survivor's meeting?

Thank you. I'm honestly horrified that this post is allowed to be left up, and even more so that people are joining in. This is a very, very real fear of mine and I'm sure every single other provider. There is a time and a place for such jokes, this isn't it.
