Get Google voice and use it for text only on private browser mode, I've only had a couple of providers who required me to call them, I moved on to the next one, problem solved.

I used pm to get direct access to text message contact info , and had a few events without any phone call ,and some with. I am not sure what the pros vs cons are, except my tracfoneplan is depleting fast and will need a new card soon. There are easy at least 15 text messages involved in each event. Sometimes more. I need to start using my voice minutes.

I find it easier if I just show up at her incall when I want to.
Avoids all those pesky text messages and PMs.
