A couple questions about Indianopolis

Hello Indianapolis,

I will be visiting the Indianapolis area next week. This will be my first trip ever to this area so to say I am excited is putting it lightly. I was wondering if there is another site that I should be advertising on besides Eccie and TER. Is EROS a good site to advertise on for this area? Also, I am not sure which area would be best for me to stay in as far as safety and convenience. I am considering downtown, East, or the airport area. Any information that you can provide me with would be greatly appreciated.

Are you on Grainbelt News? It's not real big here but will get you some attention. Not sure where you are thinking about east as far as hotels as not too many to choose from. Downtown should be ok as well as the airport depending on hotel. Le is hot on east side lately. Some ok hotels on south side near 65/southport but I don't know what star level you stay at. It's been kind of slow here lately at least for me.

Sara has given you good info. I don't like downtown because of parking, but that is just me.

I havent tried Eros yet but I know gbn & usasg are commonly used here. Downtown I prefer, you are in walking distance of the mall & great food. Usually the bar/resturaunt I meet them at, they cover his garage parking.
The airport side always having really good deals on 4 star hotels but may be far depending where they are coming from.

Stay away from Carmel and Castleton. I believe that's East? Too hot there. I have always had good results when I stayed out by the airport. North is good too. If you are not a member of GBN-Grain Belt News I would suggest you join. GBN is a great info tool as well as a place to post ads. Stay safe.
