I don't think they even want John and Janes ... they want people that are doing this against their will - human traffickers - but they will I believe grab the occasional low hanging fruit in order to justify hours and cost of investigation. We are all accountable to someone. but, I certainly don't think their focus is here any time soon unless a bigger issue pops up like a felon or someone hurting or killing people.

That depends too much on the local people. For a long while the Cincinnati police chief was a Thumpers nut job who DID see it as his divine tasking to stamp out sin and punish sinners. There are some of those in New Mexico and parts of Maryland too. Some of them probably do think running a sting to catch a businessman or a true independent lady choosing to do this is more god's work than taking down a meth lab. Sad.

I'd like to speak to this on a few points.

First off, it was not the escorting that caused, or even contributed, to this woman's demise. She could have met him on POF, eHarmony, ChristianMingle, or her local church even... she could have "done it the right way" and married the bastard. She still would have had the same outcome.

Psychopaths don't just target escorts, they target all women. They are everywhere and in high abundance. Crazy as it may sound, I got into escorting to AVOID the creeps. Because I can screen and set WAY HIGHER standards, I am able to avoid much of the uncomfortable and occasionally dangerous situations I sometimes found myself in before.

Not saying it can't happen here, but so far my experiences have been of higher quality and with much less drama and bullshit than before.
