Nahhh, he's fine. He's also not wrong. There were a couple of way more deserving stories that should have been up for the award. It also has nothing to do with liberal or progressive, they're going for ratings. Money is the only language they speak.

Costas has some credibility talking about a sports award, but I have no more interest in listening to his oninon of gun control than I do listening to Charlton Heston's opinions on sports.

Oh, please. The fact that progressives refuse to get a rope and hang transgenders and gays doesn't mean that they've become our sacred cows. Jenner is a pathetic mixed up human being with some significant emotional issues. I feel sorry for the guy. But, he's also a total media creature and is presumably making a shitload of cash out of all this.

Costas will be fine. He is 100% correct about this. By the way, has anybody even heard of this award before? Shit, ESPN should write Costas a big check for directing the spotlight on to this previously unknown accolade.
