You're in luck there;* Italian is the national cuisine of St. Louis.

Not only is there all the Italian food you can eat in the Hill, but it's pretty much all authentic. My only reservation is that if you're a vegetarian (since why else would you be asking about vegetarian fare in STL?) I'm not certain you can do as well doing Italian and keep within vegetarian norms. But I suppose half the fun is in trying.

You been hitting the casinos? The craps at Ameristar was good like 2 AM or so! I didn't play as well as I could have but took a little home, temporarily at least, LOL!

BCG is correct, the local Italian restaurants can be authentic and terrific.
