My business is signed up for google fiber to be installed soon. I have cat 5 ethernet installed everywhere with a single wifi connection to a remote computer. The way it was explained to me is that the choke point will be the wifi connection to a single machine. The ethernet hub will need to be replaced from an N model to an AC model. I think the newest hub could be obtained at Microcenter.
WiFi connections are not recommended to handle the higher speed. So our internet work will be done from the main building with wired ethernet.
Wow, I am glad that the cat 5 cable will still handle the job.
