Most people these days only care about you for the duration of time they can use you. Once they decide you are of no use to them, they are out the door and don't want to be bothered with your stories. I am sorry she is going thru this, but I am really sincere when I say you are an extraordinary friend.

Good on ya, friend. True friends can be very rare, and I'm sure the lady appreciates you. I will keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers and hope that some of the ladies will heed your excellent advice.

I think this post was good by OLD-T. It certainly pulled on my lil heart strings and I don't even know her..........

But on the other side of the spectrum........similar scenario wise if this misfortunate happened to a hobbyist, would we really care much? Maybe guy gets caught cheating on his wife, loses his job, strains his relationship with his kids after, Ill even toss in an accident that leaves him unable to pay his bills and not affluent. Would we even care much? Initially we might.........but ultimately because he paying for a lifestyle of luxury we wouldn't care much after, and not for long. We would tell him to move on and persevere. He accepted his consequences right? You wouldn't see a long line of post setting up a paypal account of financial support for a formally popular client who has had money woes recently. Id read it and count my blessing like I would any alert, but at the end of the day I wouldn't give a care anyway honestly. Would we tell a guy stop seeing providers, and focus more emotionally and monetarily on your familys legacy. Please don't see providers, cause when your caught it ruins families? Sure those ladies wouldn't lol.

And let's be even more real. For a lot of people this is about business. Yes I can be cordial with you and respectful, Ill even care about your well being while I'm seeing you. So when shit hits the fan and your life situation changes, does that make those people not closely related to you other than family assholes because they don't want to be involved with that aspect? Absolutely not........its just business.

Usually when you involve emotion in the hobby......empathy......someon e takes advantage of that empathy monetarily.

This is a good story to hear of her getting better. And glad you still kept in contact. That's exceptional.
