If there is a single chance this side of the Mississippi that you're serious, I think that we should talk.

I DREAM of being on a particular train in that country and singing, "Don't you know we're riding on the Marrakesh Express?" Sounds completely crazy but I think that visiting Morocco would be really interesting.

In closing, one of the advantages (or great disappointments, if you wish to look at it that way) of having a lot of alone time with yourself is it affords you the opportunity to think about random things.

And do a LOT of daydreaming.

However, sometimes ... dreams come true!

It is hard to breathe if you are an asthmatic. Otherwise, it just sucks not to have visibility beyond 3-5 miles. Think of a really foggy day in Dallas, then color the fog slightly darkish yellow. Go to a tall building and you are in the clouds - of smog.It is by far the worst pollution I have ever seen, but I haven't been to India. However, I saw young women walking around alone at night with no fear. I hiked all over cities and countrysides and never felt unsafe. Rarely ever saw a cop - must not be needed.
If you don't bother anyone there, they've seen enough Westerners that you are no big deal to them. Drink bottled water, and eat at nice places. Try not to look at their creeks and waterways too closely.

In my early twenties I traveled Europe and got to go to London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, Interlaken, Florence, Genoa, Marseilles, Paris and Barcelona.

Another time I went straight to Stockholm and back.

Lived in Tokyo for a few years. Traveled to Kyoto, Hong Kong, Bali, South Korea, Singapore.

I'd still love to go to Fiji, Hawaii, Prague, Copenhagen, Berlin, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Dubai, Brazil, Egypt, Capetown and New Zealand.

Bangkok to stay at the original Mandarin Hotel and dine at Sirocco
Alaska to go fishing
NY to visit the Met
Amsterdam to experience the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra ...also to visit the Sex Museum.
Lakeview, OR to take a course at Thunder Ranch

Completed bucket list places:
Kentucky for polo matches and the KY derby
Rented a Benz convertable and drove from Vegas to Bel-Air through Death Valley
Stayed in Cape Town and flew to KwaZulu Natal to go on a hunting Safari
South Padre Island and Pensacola with my soros.

I love to research and study before I go. So much to see internationally but I do love traveling the good ol' USA.

while i was in the Navy i got to visit all over the world. the odd thing though about travel on my bucket list is just being out at sea. there is soemthing so magical about looking all around you and there being no land and the sea is so calm it looks like glass. This from a guy that grew up in Texas and ndever even stepped on a boat before joining the navy. Oh and Thailand is a blast for cheeap women and booze. There was a place off the coast of africa call the Seachell isles. wonderful place. spent christmas 2000 there. 75 degrees water was about the same and so crystal clear.

I've also been very fortunate to have travelled quiet a bit over the years. I enjoy history and particularly the history of mankind so Rome & Greece are on my bucket list.

Having a career that requires travelling, being a Marine, and playing sports in college have allowed me to see a good bit of the US, Mexico, and Canada. We're so lucky to have lands that are truly remarkable right in our own backyard.

Watching TV last night and seeing Niagara Falls mostly frozen over was majestic. I've been close to there but never stopped by - that would be a nice site to see up close. I watched Secretariat win the Derby at Church Hill Downs. Yeah, I'm old but I was also a youngster back then.

An early morning drive in early spring around the try state area of Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina gives you fantastic views of the mountains on fire - the condensation rises from the forest floor so thick you sense everything is smoldering below. It's really an unusual site. Thus, The Smoky Mountains.

I've sat in the lower storage areas of large casks of wine at Mondavi in Napa and sampled their premium reds. That was classic. I once had a grizzly bear run by me in Alaska so close he could have taken a bite out of me and not lost a step. Something similar with Moray eels and small sharks off the waters of Maui while snorkeling. Once enjoyed watching a rugby game on a sunny weekend day in Bath, England. And a bunch of other very memorable experiences in various places.

Do yourself a favor, spend a few days in Washington and visit The Smithsonian. Among the vast display of great collections, you see things so telling like burial vaults and suits of armor of European knights. The replica of their bodies so small, they couldn't have been taller than 5' 5".

Of all the places that excite me, I think the Louvre in Paris is my favorite. I want to go back and spend weeks in there. The museum has sooo much history stored in it's walls and civilization as we know it is captured there from many centuries. It's remarkable how much of the history of civilization is stored there. That little thief known as Napoleon brought a bunch of things back to Paris on his military outings. And there are troves of other treasures stored there as well.

So as to keep it all in perspective, the best thrills are still seeing that new girl open her door and she just blows you away with her good looks, demeanor, and sexiness.
