Local Kidnapping Story... Did Fox4 Get Duped?

Hmm... this link was all I could find to a story I saw on Fox4 last night.. Zahid Arab interviewed a "woman" from the apt. complex, who stated she saw the children outside the complex and asked if they were ok.. they told her no, she took them inside her apt., gave them hot chocolate, called the Cops, who picked the children up at her apt.. the "woman" is clearly a transsexual, not that I care, but it was funny seeing the piece, and how straight Zahid Arab played it.. I think he was conned completely..

this article states a man found the children, called the cops after asking the kidnapper whose children they were.. appears to be straight from police accounts, with no embellishment.. and a different tale from Fox4..

my thinking is Arab was so intent on getting a human interest angle to the story, he let his guard down.. anyone else see the Fox4 report last night?

I saw it, but after I saw the "woman" I had to turn it to another station. Nothing against her lifestyle, she was just hard to look at.

I think the fact that it was a transsexual is why Fox 4 wanted to do the story. It's a 2fer, a feel good story and a positive LGBT story. Who cares about facts? Half the stories new stations do nowadays leave you asking basic questions that the reporters didn't bother to ask.

It was definitely a transsexual and Zahib did play it straight. I admire the way the story was handled because it was about the two kids that were kidnapped by a crazy lady and not about someone's sexual preference. I don't care what people do personally in a sexual preference just keep it out of every news story. It's called NEWS not THE PERSONAL AGENDA

anyone see the followup last night on Fox4? very interesting interview with the Kidnapper from her prison cell... Shaun Raab interviewed her, of course she tried to explain she's a good person, it was all a misunderstanding.. she looked horrible, gave ridiculous, stammering responses, and totally incriminated herself.. if she's represented by Counsel, her Attorney should be disbarred for letting her make a fool of herself like that.. she appeared to be under the influence of Meth during the interview, Raab asked if she used drugs, she said "no, not really", explaining that she only used several times in the days leading to the Kidnapping, and not at all since the morning of the Kidnapping...smh
