On giving out that good reference.....

Yes, I know I am new on here. But I have been around a number of years and feel this is important .

This happened to me the other day. I had a provider request a reference on a client. She gave me his full name but no p411 number or any other way to remember him. The last name did nothing for me. And right off of the top of my head I can think of at least 6 different Steve's, or Tom's, or Daves. So guys, if you want a good reference from my sisters or I, you have to give us a way to remember you. Especially if it has been six months or longer since we have seen you.

I love to give out a reference to a sister. It in a way works like a good review does. It is a win/win situation for those involved, that is, ....if I can remember just who you are. If I can't, then I can not give you that good reference you so deserve from me.

I guess that is yet another good reason to join a verification site like P411. If you have to remind said provider to remember something that will stick in their head. Either there seeing way to many Steve's, Tom's or Dave's or you might just want to remember their hobby name yet another good reason to create one. Don't get me wrong building up references is a good thing. Especially if you want to see that one special hottie that requires special qualification for seeing her.

Yes, I agree whole heartedly with this. IF she had given his p411 number it would have expedited the request so much faster.

Another time I had a request for a "Pete". (Scratching my head, wdf is Pete?)

Moral of this story is if requesting references make sure we remember you. And ladies, I do truly apologize but I have met too many Tom, Dick, and Harry's to know just specifically who the one you want a reference on.

I am all for providing references as I believe we should keep each other safe.

I always ask for a phone number, email address and full name. You could always ask the guy to email you to remind you of where and when you saw each other and some memorable trait.

I've been asked to provide a reference before where I know I met that person according to emails we shared, but totally drew a blank of who he was as it was a year ago.

Generally , most providers have more then just a name when they ask for a reference. but my point is still this- Gentlemen, if you are using us as a reference two years down the road. Then it would be a good thing if we had some way to determine which "Pete" you are. And while some may say "two years", you would be surprised . I have been used as a reference by a guy I saw five years also.

EXACTLY why I still use P411 and why I contact the lady right after our appointment to UPDATE my OK with her on P411.

I always appreciate when a gent gives me a heads up he is providing me as a reference, especially if it has been a little while since our last date (6 months or longer)

I actually prefer current referral (6 months) unless a repeating Lover. Its super helpful when the gents give a heads up, I certainly agree!

Being a male in the hobby For a little while now i have several ways to verify myself but by far p411 has been hands down the best way to book and verify my self .

But as far as how a provider can remember a specific guy in the hobby i could see how this could be issue lets face it some guys are just not that note worthy . My self i have never had that problem .I Find that Simply by being a perfect gentleman that is polite on time and sincere in his topic,s of conversation can develop common intrust and then remaining on topic will associate the depth to which the conversation was taken forever with that persons identity .

None of what i wrote makes sense to even me . But i,am bored and wrote something .

Use what works which is P411 .

the guy should join p411 I totally agree. makes it easy for everyone. never had an issue on that site
