Anyone watching the last few episodes of Sons of Anarchy??? The show is almost done. Wow.

It's REALLY good. Just wanted to share that. If you haven't seen last night's episode, it was riveting.

I wonder how the last two episodes will play out? I'm not sure that it's following the path of Hamlet, though. Guess we'll see?

I have to disagree.

I binge-watched the first 5 seasons before the start of last season and have watched the last two seasons on DVR.

But I think the plot lines are getting increasingly ludicrous. Now I am watching out of habit and morbid curiosity.

How many double, triple, quadruple crosses can Jax Teller and SAMCRO pull off? Are they all super geniuses? If so, why are they in a motor cycle gang? There aren't too many rocket scientists in Hell's Angels.

How do they get involved in so many shootouts and never get caught? Are there NO cops in California? Are there no witnesses or street cameras?

How many people have been killed just this season? 30? 40? And the SAMCRO guys never get killed until Bobby got is last episode.

And WTF was with the opening sequence at the start of the show last week (or the week before?) The one that showed about 6 or 7 different couples fucking in bed (or in prison in Juice's case)? How cheesy and exploitative was that? Is Kurt Sutter so out of plot lines and gimmicks he has to burn a couple of minutes of TV time with naked butts to draw viewers?

And don't get me started on the "romances" between Chibs and the female sheriff, especially the scene where they are arguing about where the relationship is heading and she demands that he prove his love for her by fucking her right in the middle of the parking garage on the hood of the cop car with a SAMCRO member 30 feet away watching.

Really? What part of the plot line did that scene advance? And what exactly was her logic there?

Like I said, the show is getting dumber and dumber. Sutter is pulling out every cheap trick in the book to build up the suspense.

But the only real drama is whether or not Jax kills his mom (or gets killed himself) and how Juice is going to die in prison.

And what kind of super gory, strange way that Sutter will kill them off.

It has been a good season ...but I also agree that it is a little crazy how they're never busted/caught on anything they do. I mean how is it that no one ever reports or witnesses any of the crimes committed ....they're a biker gang ...it not like they can be very inconspicuous in all of these crimes ......doesn't anyone notice them, lol.

I think Jax goes out by way of "mayhem" where they strip him of all ties to the club, remove his ink, etc. ..for killing Jury, that other SOA President.

They jumped the shark for me when they went to Ireland. After that I was never really interested again.

I'm embarrassed to be watching it. I started watching this show at least 4 times over the years and dropped it because its is so bad, for all the reasons posted above and more. I have binge watched it this fall to watch the last episodes real time but it is a waste of life. I'm usually reading eccie while ignoring it. I'm disappointed this garbage came from some of the creators of The Shield. Now I'm just hoping Jax Teller gets a red hot poker shoved up his ass before his eyes are cut out.

These 90 minute episodes could be cut by two thirds easily.

On the positive side, I'm binging on The Wire now. Much better.

I'm just now watching the first season of Sons. I'm thinking some of these guys aren't gonna be around when I watch Season 7...
