Keep doin' what your doin' and you'll keep getting what you're gettin'....you good ol boy no change motherfuckers already got the next to dumbest kids and women that are second class citizens. WTF, you want the absolute dumbest kids and your women ignorant, pregnant, barefoot and in the kitchen? I'm ashamed for you.

What we can do without is a bunch of holdout closet mysogynists not very cleverly disguised as "more service sector jobs for the uneducated because our kids are stupid" economists. What we need is teacher pay raises and funding for women's health care, not another toll road sale bankrolling a fucking C student drooler into the limelight once again to make Texas the laughing stock of American political endeavors.

Obviously, you don't hold Texas women in very high esteem. What we need is a voucher system so we can have competition for the terrible public school system that is less than marginal in ever state. I didn't realize that women were on a different healthcare system.

Yea, lets make Texas another blue state, deeply in debt, corrupt, with high taxes that drives jobs out of state or overseas.

America tried that hope and change shit. Now you have Congress controlled by Republicans, more Republican governors and more state congresses controlled by Republicans. The whole country has turned red.

Great plan there dildo.

My two kids went to public schools in Texas. Both are in top five in the country programs in their respective fields -- medicine and law -- and doing quite well.

Maybe we need to stop undermine the public schools so they can spend more time teaching kids and less worrying about politically motivated attacks and greedy budget cuts.

Both of my daughters went to Catholic schools in southern Louisiana. When we moved to Texas both were elevated a grade and they wanted to move my youngest up two. Both graduated on the International Baccalaureate program and matriculated into College as sophomores.

The problem is that our children stand out like a diamond in a goats butt.

Money isn't the answer. We continue to spend more and get less in return. Public education is a monopoly and they never provide a good product at a reasonable cost.

I paid 100% of my daughters education until High School. It wasn't the nearly $18,000 per year, per student, that we are paying on public education.

TH, did you read that study and see the difference between the published amounts and the actual amounts? Give me something other than Gen Wu's website.

Now that people know what she is about, she won't even get elected back to the state house. Not in Ft. Worth. She could move to Austin.
I just wonder if she's NQNS?

The link shows spending on education in Texas has risen 22% in 10 years.

If liberals cared about the education of Texas children they would support the shut down illegal immigration and put an end to anchor baby "citizenship".

But liberals care more about the children south of the border than Texas' own.
