California finished the fiscal year with a $1.9 billion surplus. Next year's surplus is expected to be even bigger. Californians threw the Republicans out of the legislature, raised taxes, and are doing quite well. I spent the last two weeks in San Francisco and Palo Alto. The economy there is booming.

Won't be for long if they don't sort the water issues. Agriculture is California a lifeline
