Thanks man! I'm spoiled though. Even though Monterrey is much safer than a border town it's still as dangerous as any big city. I am lucky enough to have an associate who is my driver, my interpreter and my negotiator. It also helps that he is an ex MMA fighter. I will post some good info on strip clubs soon but I would not recommend trying them out alone. The escort scene especially with these guys was smooth as silk and there are reviews on some other sites that helped me choose them.

It took me months of trial and error to get to know Monterrey pretty well..I'm a native of Waco Texas but moved to the valley about 3 years ago..If you go at it alone, you will waste money and time to figure it out (where the good spots are) and if your Spanish is limited everyone will try to take advantage of you including taxi's who get kick backs from taking you to ultra scam expensive bars, to waiters trying to squeeze every nickel from you..I know the city well and also know some private chicas who do service for reasonable rates..Believe me when I tell you its a lot cheaper and fun to have a guide with you that will keep you safe and show you the ropes..also know this hotel that is girl friendly with free awesome breakfast every day for less than $45 US a day..i'm a USA citizen that can speak fluent Spanish and get you started and show you the way,..! I'm talking college looking girls that are impossible to get in the states! For a small fee that will pay itself over I am now taking groups or singles to Monterrey! Last time I offered this I was laughed off hard, but believe if you venture out there on your own it will cost you more and it will be a hit or miss with the ladies..I'm a cheap guide too..pm if your interested. Please don't bash me, I only wish that I had a guide the first time I was in monterrey..it would have saved me a ton of cash, frustration and valuable time!

Xenu45 is right it's not like TJ where you can get around and everything is together. Having my driver/interpreter/body guard was golden! I also threw it out to some high roller friends to take a group down. We are renting a house with a pool in sept and throwing a Rio style Festina for three days.

Also a great tip for Hilton guys. The Hampton on Gen Garza is girl friendly as long as you are respectful and smart and only 5k points a night!!! If you travel at all and stay at Hilton you know you can't get a Hampton inn Albq for less than 20-30k a night. 30k miles on American for the plane, 15k points for the hotel and your funds are all saved for the hot chicas.
