Justin Slayer series, I can't even watch his shit anymore. His girls be fine as hell, but his spastic back and forth switching makes me quit watching his shit in the middle of a rub out and find something else.

I like to watch at angles that show off the girls [hot] body a majority of the scent time. Change angles? Zoom in and out? Sure, both of those are cool, but don't overdo it or do it in a way that distracts from the action. As far as the OP goes, I gotta lean towards modern porn. That said, I do occasionally enjoy a throwback. Of the old days, I like the hair pies, though better when it's tamed. The chicka-wah music was cool, sometimes overdone. The acting was sometimes overdone, but sometimes actually pretty good, too. The IOP of old porn was better. There was more MISH scenes. That's pretty funny but thought provoking. I am a 90's child as well (born 1985), so I guess even the homemade amateur porns of today would beat anything ever put out in the 70's/80's. I believe story lines serve two (2) purposes: Maintain a female audience ( you know we love drama) and to build suspense to keep one watching.
