Hello my Hobby Friends, Foes and Lovers!
Since I posted an ad showing availability this weekend, I just wanted to post a quick note to inform y'all that my grandmother passed away this morning and I will unexpectedly be out of town this Friday and Saturday to attend her visitation and funeral as well as be there for my Pops.
She has been sick for a very long time, so while I am sad and while there is a feeling of loss, there is no grief.
I am still scheduling for the rest of the week and I am and will be the same, upbeat and goofy (and compliant 
) Elektra my regulars have cum to............................ ................know and love. No one will have to play therapist or even hear about dead Grandma.
Also, while there's a chance I may want to get out of the house, it's unlikely that I'll be at
the upcoming (staff edit; ztonk) HH I told some of you I'd try to make. Super bummed, but I'll most def be at the next

Though I don't have any problems making my personal life public, the purpose of this was simply to write what the "haps" is in one place. I don't need sympathy or threADS or dickwad replies, but if you'd like to send any condolences, of course, feel free. I always appreciate a kind and empathetic gesture.
I will try to get to as many e-mails and requests as I can before I leave Friday, but while I don't know what will be asked of me to help with funeral arrangements, I apologize for any longer waits due to my absence and slight life distraction.
On the upside, having the hobby and those I have met through it during times like these is extremely comforting and very much a blessing to have. Only one or two hobbyists were informed about G-Ma before I wrote this, and the care and concern that was expressed from both has helped me get through those nagging feelings of loss throughout today.
I hope you all have loved ones in your real worlds, and if you don't, I hope you have found some special connections and friendships through this community as I have.
