Slate Plus?

Has anyone here subscribed to Slate Plus?

I'm really fond of slate.com I've read the site for years. So when "Slate Plus" came along, well, I understand the reason why the site started a paying portion but honestly, it pisses me off, too.

Guess that it shouldn't, though. I pay a fee for Pandora's Radio. And cable. Also The New York Times.

Before signing up, I would like to know what the opinions of those might be who have already reviewed this new offering.

Have you read NYT's article on the topic from 3rd week of March?
I'm trying to see values other than missing the ads, which get ignored anyway.
But then I don't hit it that often in the first place.
