Yeah, the overall experience is better in the "real world" (I really don't know how else to refer to it), and in the long-term it's always more satisfying to know someone on that deeper emotional level.
I was married for damn near a decade, and I can't imagine experiencing anything with a provider that comes anywhere close to what I had with my ex- and that's ok- I'm not looking for that!
But so far as a short-term experience is concerned, I've definitely found that I am less inhibited with a provider that I'm seeing/meeting for the very first time, than I am in those first few experiences with a new partner.
