True. Plus the futbol/soccer playoff/multiple Cups structure does make it interesting. MLS Cup.... SuperLiga.... Pan-Pacific.... CONCACAF....

I prefer Snatch over Soccer all day long and twice on Sundays!!

I agree the Dynamo have done a great job winning and applaud their efforts but what league do they even play in? MLS? I enjoy the big leagues of soccer, the English Premier League is pretty fucingk good stuff. I also do watch the world cup tournaments as those fuckers can ball. The best way to watch a soccer game is to have it recording and then come back and check on it from time to time to see if the score has changed, if so rewind that bitch and check out the goal.

It's tough to get very enthusiastic about the Dynamo when you never see them on TV either. The coverage of the Dynamo is pathetic as well. No sportscast even mentions them to my knowledge, they never make it on ESPN either.

Dynamo Snatch, Yes. Dynamo Soccer, mehh. World Cup Soccer, Yes. World Cup Snatch in Brazil, Fuck Yes!!

let's put it this way: You can find parking for $5 (not easy, but there are a few spots near the stadium), buy a ticket for $25 at the gate, get 22 oz beer for $10, and for $40 total get to cheer for the team yell "Oooooo pu-toooo" every time the opposing team/s goalkeeper kicks the ball, curse the referee and basically just enjoy a nice afternoon/evening out. Houston Aeros games used to be like that, only you got to ring cowbells as well. Inexpensive fun that does not require extensive planning or buying tickets from scalpers.

As to the TV coverage... yes it sucks. But I switched to Comcast to be able to watch more Dynamo games on TV because last year ATT stopped broadcasting Dynamo and Astros. Now I get to see more games. Also, it helps if you have buddies that follow MLS, so you can talk to somebody about soccer games during the season.

Well stated. I'd rather watch a good soccer game then bang a hottie from these boards any day of the week. GO DYNAMO!

Find Buddies that want to talk Soccer?? WTF?? Aren't those called Foreigners?? Will I have to learn a new language too? WTF?? Should I buy Rosetta Stone for Spanish or German?

I actually grew up watching MLS soccer, I hated the Cosmos, Georgio Canallo, Franz Beckenbaur, all the high priced talent. My shitty little team from Oklahoma would kick their ass all the time. The Tulsa Roughnecks used have a bunch of English and Irish bad ass mfers that would take it too the pussy Cosmos!! My favorite player was "The Boomer" Alan Woodward. He was a grey headed old fuck, past his prime but he could kick the FUCK out of that ball!!!

Somebody get me an Ass picture of that big black Dynamo Snatch!! Por Favor!!

It was a great game. Gonna be another good season, I hope. Maybe this year we can seal the deal.

Hey! the Houston soccer community welcomes all who want to talk soccer or ask questions, if new to the worlds greatest game. No questions are dumb. Once the bug gets a hold of you....watch out, banging local hookers will be a second thought! lol
