Admiral, you continue to operate under the delusion that you make the rules around here. Sorta like you deciding that you win every argument. You don't.

I didn't know who he was until you posted about it and could care less. I thought the commentary was insightful and spot on correct and could care less what you think about or about who wrote it.

Dunce.

Look at these Ben Franklin quotes. They sum up just about everything wrong with what what happens to great country's.

The second one in particular. It allows demagogues such as President Obama to rise to power.

The leaders of the republican s are content to play second fiddle to the Democrats and retain the modicum of poser while allowing the Democrats to destroy the nation. The Republican establishment is willing to compromise with the Democrats but not with those in their own party. This will be the death knell of the Republicans and will be paramount to conceding defeat to the Democrats.

The refusal of the so called evangelical Republicans to support the cult derived candidate Mormon, Mitt Romney, as well as those that refused to vote for a Democrat in a Republican suit effectively handed the second term to Obama. Combine that with the establishment Republicans fear that conservative candidates with libertarian leanings will actually reduce the size of government and thus reduce the so called power of the politician scares the fucking shit out of them.

The reality is that by the time a new party congeals it may be too late to save this nation from the destruction inflicted by the Democrat party and all of it's commie-socialist-progressive groups.
Blah blah blah blah. You pretentious conservative assholes never cease to amuse me with your bizarre doomsday narratives. All your ideas and beliefs are based on intolerance, fear, and paranoia. Sorry, but political parties based on that type of ideology will never attract a significant enough segment of the population to control things...thank god. It's just like the article says.....the GOP has always had its share of whackjobs like you. But, they managed to keep you on a leash....now, you're off and your going to eat the hand that fed you for all those years. To the detriment of both. And, to the benefit of the Dems. Thanks for being crazy, we appreciate it.

Oh, and I am thinking that with Christie's scandal brewing ever hotter by the day.....and nothing but extremist loons (Cruz)or barely functional idiots (Perry) left as potential candidates to choose from...Mitt is going to start looking pretty good again to the mainstream GOP. I think there is an excellent chance you will be saddled with that cult guy in 2016. I hope so.

timpage, you have no idea about me.
I do not care about the thing you think I do and try my best to steer those that believe as you state in the right direction.
You seem to be ignorant of what I believe.
The difference is that you are in favor of a larger government that has more control over the individual and I am in favor of a smaller government that has less control over the individual.
You are in favor of taking more money for the individual to finance your bigger government and I ma in favor of taking less money for a smaller government.
You are in favor of the government telling you what is good and bad and I am in favor of the individual making that decision.
You8 are in favor of using the military around the world to be the worlds police force and I am in favor of the military only being used in the defense of our nation.
You are in favor of the government deciding who the winners and losers are and I am in favor of the free market to decide.

I do not want to institute more control over anybody and feel that all laws should have a sunset provision so that the next generation is not saddled with mistakes of the previous generation.
I am opposed to generational borrowing by the government because that is the worst form of taxation without representation.
I believe in a fairly strict interpretation of the Constitution and you believe that the Constitution is an outdated document that is meaningless in today's world.
I am for the right of a nation to exist w9ithout the intervention of other governments and you are for a globalized one size fits all rule.
I am opposes to borrowing money to give to other nations and you are in favor of borrowing to nation build.
You think government is the answer and I think government is the problem.
You believe in man made global warming and I believe it is a hoax.

If by not wanting to be a part of eugenics is intolerant, I guess I am intolerant of that.
If being against genocide is intolerant, then I guess I am intolerant of that too.
Do not lump me into the so called conservatives that are just establishment republicans that want to keep government big and able to control the lives of the citizens, I am not that man.

The insane belief that giving the government more money will somehow make it better for everybody is just that, insane. .

Hey Assup, why don't you spit out the whole thought? What you're trying to say is:

Because our founding fathers shit (shat? shitted?) in holes, it irrefutably follows that "the Constitution is an outdated document that is meaningless in today's world."

Is that better?

Glad to help out!

Jeepers, man, you're right... just think about it... Here we are more than two centuries later, and we still make our elected leaders take a silly oath to "preserve, protect and defend" the damn thing... I mean, is that archaic, or what?

There are a lot of those so called religious zealots that vote Democrat because they are too ignorant to know better.

I am not among the religious right and try my best to teach the ones I find where they are going wrong. Their position is no beterr than the theocracies that rule the Muslim world. I have no problem with a person having faith in God and being in politics but to force their religion upon me isn't anymore right than what the Islamist extremists are doing.

Oh and by the way, no nerves were struck here. My response was a simple explanation of how you cannot lump everybody that disagrees with you into one group. Pointing out the differences in what we believe helps the other to better understand. I even tried to use easy words.

I make it a point not to criticize a fellow right-thinking conservative and I applaud you on your conservative positions.

I would caution you concerning feeling any need to defend yourself or fall into false traps designed to divide.

The left's hope is in and message replete with half truths, false charges and all manner of subterfuge. When a conservative accepts their "points" but says not I and defends himself but accedes as valid the charges, deceit and oft repeat propaganda such as anyone trying to push religion on anyone, the war on women, or the only reason we wish Obama failure is we are racist, we are snared in a web of deceit woven by users and takers.

If you really thought about it, this commentary tears you a new asshole when it comes to reasonable discussion. Poorly written, poorly sourced, and inaccurate in so many ways. Based on opinion and not facts in evidence. Why not start a thread about the legitimacy of professional wrestling.
