Lets see if you even know what you're talking about. First of all the president has very little control over Gas prices. But for the sake of argument when Bush left office gas on average was 1.78/gal. Gas did reach an all time high of just a little over 4.00/gal in the summer of 2008 and fell to 2.15 /gal by Nov. Gas prices now are an average of about 3.64/gal. Gas prices have increased almost every month since 2009, since Obama has been in office. Although we haven't seen 4.00/gal. again, we've seen small steady increases without any significant drop in prices. Although Bush was no prize, Obama is no whizz at strengthening the economy either.
