Worldwide Travel Privileges
Delta travel privileges are the envy of the industry. You will be provided with full program guidelines upon hire, but basically, after completing 30 days of service with the company, you can use your travel privileges to travel
anywhere Delta flies.

Family members are also eligible for free and reduced rate travel, including:
- Spouse
- Same-sex domestic partner/same-sex spouse (imputed income applies)
- Minor dependent children (under 19 or under 23 if full-time student)
- Parents
Individuals eligible for reduced-rate travel are your:
- Nondependent children
- Travel companion
- Family & Friends guest
You and your eligible pass riders will travel standby, on a space available basis, which means you receive seats only if space is available after all revenue passengers have been boarded. For you and your eligible family members, the flight is free, but when flying to international destinations, there may be government or airport fees. Nevertheless, it is still a great deal.
Before you use your travel privileges, you are required to pay an annual $50 non-refundable activation fee. One fee covers you and your eligible pass riders.

- 401(k) plan with automatic enrollment, automatic company contribution equal to 2% of your eligible pay and a 100% company match for the first 5% you contribute
- Profit sharing with eligibility beginning on day one of employment; payout levels and amounts can vary annually, but in 2007 Delta distributed more than 15% of its pre-tax income
