Default House passes anti-abortion bill which stands zero chance of becoming law

The GOP house 'tards continue their never-ending efforts to alienate women by passing the most restrictive federal abortion legislation ever. The bill was sponsored by Trent Franks of Arizona who made a fool of himself last week by commenting that the incidence of pregnancy resulting from rape is "really low".....

In recognition that the wingers in the party were about to repeat the same stupid mistakes they made in the run-up to the 2012 election on the women and rape issue, the more moderate members of the house managed to throw exceptions for rape and incest into the bill at the last minute. There were no such exceptions in the original legislation. The magoo who sponsored the legislation was jerked out of the limelight and some bimbo from Tennessee was put on point.

The legislation stands zero chance of becoming law. The senate hasn't scheduled a vote and even if they did, it wouldn't pass. And, of course, President Obama has already indicated he will veto the legislation.

Got to have your priorities straight. And the priority here is to feed red meat to your conservative Christian base.

Every time they lose, they convince themselves that in order to win next time, they need to be more like Lovingkayla, not less.

They're just once again pandering to the WERF's that control the GOP. Something Barry Goldwater warned them about around fifty years ago. Unfortunately, the WERF's tend to be loud enough in their hysteria to drown out all logical conversation and deflect any rational thoughts.
